Minnesota Hockey is excited to announce a six week, social media program named High Performance Hockey Insights. The campaign will provide a unique opportunity for members to interact with hockey’s brightest minds via Twitter and Facebook starting Monday, January 19th.
“Parents all want the same thing for the player - the best development experience possible,” said MacMillan. “The problem is there is way too much information to sort through it all, and much of it is misguided! With all of this noise, as I like to call it, parents and players miss out on what they are actually looking for. Think of this as a chance to educate yourself on doing it right, not just doing it.”
As a leader in player development, Minnesota Hockey has continues to connect current hockey players and parents with hockey experts in an effort to provide them with information they need to be successful. This program takes that one step further, allowing everyone in the Minnesota Hockey community the chance to not only learn from but interact with NHL scouts, NHL agents, college hockey personnel and leaders in our CCM High Performance programs.
"We are excited to launch the High Performance Hockey Insights Twitter Takeover for all Minnesota players and parents,” said CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Director, Mike MacMillan. “These experts in player development know what it takes to be the best of the best from the State of Hockey.”
Every Monday night from January 19th to February 26th a hockey expert (see below) will take over the Minnesota Hockey Twitter handle (@MinnHockey) to answer your questions on player development for one hour starting at 6 pm. Then, three questions will be chosen to be answered in more depth via a video to be posted later.
Players and parents can submit questions at any time by email or by tagging @MinnHockey on Twitter and have them answered by the expert of your choice. Then, join the conversation at #HockeyInsights starting Monday, January 19th.
