Minnesota Hockey announced it has cancelled the 2020 CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance programs that were to be played at locations across the state this spring, due to the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID19). Minnesota Hockey has started the process of providing refunds to players who have already registered for this year’s CCM High Performance programs and will work to provide them as quickly as possible to the players impacted.
The purpose of the CCM High Performance Program is to identify, train, educate and evaluate Minnesota’s best hockey players. The competition throughout our program gives each player the opportunity to measure themselves against others in his age group, gain knowledge about his development and to be exposed to outstanding coaching.
The Spring Festival and Final 54 provide an excellent opportunity for our players to be seen by junior, college and NHL scouts. In addition, players have the opportunity to be evaluated for potential participation in national camps.
Traditionally, Minnesota has had about 50% turn over in players selected to national camps from one year to the next. This is proof of the large talent base here in Minnesota, our dedication to a fair, non-biased evaluation process, and the continued development of our players.
Registration will open in February. This program is for players who are nominated by their High School Coach. To register, please contact your High School Coach or Section General Manager (listed below).
Boys HP 16 players will be selected from 2004 birth years.
