HP 18 sections 4/5 vs Seniors ⅘:

The tight game started out as a balanced battle, being tied after the first half, with goals from Landin and Williams. The second half saw a handful of penalties which came with plentiful opportunities for some goals, but only Samuel Ranallo would find the back of the net, twice. The seniors pulled their goalie for a late push in the second half, but the 18’s stole the 3-1 victory for 7th place.

HP 18 sections 2/6 vs Seniors 2/6:

The seniors 2/6 showed up to play for the 5th place game this morning, claiming a 6-2 victory over the 18’s section 2/6. The first half saw two goals from Senior 2/6 Nelson, and one goal from Senior Andor. The second half came with hard-fought battles and goals from Seniors Seaverson, Baer and Knorr. The two goals for the 18’s were both tallied by Hendrickson - one in each half. The seniors also outshot the 18’s 31-24.

HP Seniors 7/8 vs HP18 sections 1/3 

The seniors of 7/8 struck first, as they ended the first half being up 2-1. Drotts and Waller tallied the goals, as Behrend scored for HP18 section 1/3. The HP18’s of section 1/3 came out hungry, scoring three consecutive goals to take the lead. Goals came from Kranz, Chalmers and Jamieson (GWG). The final score was 4 to 3 in favor of HP18 section 1/3 earning 3rd place.

Championship Game - HP18 7/8 vs Seniors ⅓

The HP18 Sections 7/8 controlled the first half, outshooting the Seniors 1/3 19 to 10. Junior Sections 7/8 built an early lead with goals from Thoreson and Winkler. Anderson made 10 saves on 10 shots in the first half.

The second half brought a rally of goals from both teams, but the HP18’s from sections 7/8 stayed on top. The final score of the championship game was 8-5, with the HP18 sections 7/8 being named the Great 8 champions.
