The Wisconsin Seniors took charge by scoring first, but North Dakota stormed back scoring two in the first and eventually adding another in the third. The two teams battled hard and tensions flared leading to hard, physical play and a close final score, 3-1 North Dakota.

The Minnesota Seniors ramped up their offense as the game went on, scoring one in the first, two in the second and, you guessed it, three in the third to defeat Colorado 6-1. Minnesota controlled the pace of the game from the beginning, outshooting their opponent 45-15.

The Wisconsin 18s had the Michigan Seniors back on their heels early, leading 2-1 after one period. Michigan ramped up their offense in the final two frames for a 5-3 victory. The game had ups and downs with a flurry of scoring chances coming for Wisconsin late, but MI held on for the W.

The Minnesota 18s broke the ice with two goals in the first period and never looked back, defeating the Michigan Juniors 4-1 in the final matchup of day 2. The MN penalty kill proved crucial with a total of 12 PIMS recorded for the home-state team.
