Minnesota Hockey announced today the selectees and alternates for the 2022 CCM High Performance 14 Boys & Girls Summer Development Camps.
The week-long camps for the top boys and girls hockey players in Minnesota will be held during June at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. The Girls 14 camp will take place June 12-16, and the Boys 14 will run from June 19-23.
A total of 120 players were selected for the each of the camps based on players’ performance in the 2022 HP 14 Spring Festivals in Duluth on April 22-24.
At the development camps, players will be exposed to a series of on-ice and off-ice training sessions, including areas such as proper weight training and stretching techniques, developing mental skills, video sessions and position specific skills. Players will also be split into teams and compete against other top players in games each day, providing opportunities for players to implement what they learn in practice.
The camp is led by current and former coaches from the college and high school levels. Current college players at the Division I and III levels serve as counselors.
