Reule leads the way for a Section 8A/AA victory

Warroad’s Abby Reule factored into all three Section 8A/AA Sky Blue goals, scoring two herself, in the 3-1 victory over Section 4A/AA Orange during Sunday’s seventh-place game at Plymouth Ice Center.

Section 8A/AA  took an early 1-0 lead 3:36 into the game on a Hanley Block (Alexandria) goal. Reule and Lucy Peterson (Brainerd-Little Falls) recorded the assists. Reule’s first goal of the game came in the middle of the first half to make it a 2-0 lead. She was in front of the net to finish off the play on a feed from Block. Memphis Mertens (Roseau) was credited with the second assist on the play.

Katherine Haug (Roseville) cut the deficit in half for Section 4A/AA late in the first half to make it 2-1. Olivia Paidosh (Holy Family) had the helper.

Reule added the insurance goal in the second half with assists from Ella Westlund (Alexandria) and Bria Holm (Moorhead)
