The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Youth Tier I 14U League hosted teams from outside the state, providing a tournament like atmosphere at Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, MN.

The weekend proved to be a strong showing for Team Illinois, the New Jersey Hitmen and Team Wisconsin as they showed they could compete with Minnesota's top teams, going 3-1-3 against teams who started the weekend in the top half of the standings.

After dropping a one goal game to the Polars Saturday night, the Walleye maintained their grip on first place in the standings by topping Team Wisconsin on Sunday.  The Lakers and Moose both went undefeated on the weekend, combining for three ties against the out-of-state teams, and moved into second and third place respectively.

The Lakers and Walleye account for the top five goal scorers in the Youth 14U League, with seven in the top 10. Walleye forward Landen Gunderson (Plymouth) leads everyone with a dozen goals and a point in every game while tallying 20 points (12-8-20).
