Minnesota Hockey has released the selectees and alternates for the 2015 Reebok High Performance 15 Boys and Girls Summer Festivals. The week long camps will be held at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN.  Players will be exposed to a series of on-ice and off-ice development opportunities while training with and against the best players in the state.

The HP 15 Girls Summer Festival will take place June 6-11, and the HP 15 Boys Summer Festival will be held June 13-18.

“In terms of the friendships they make and the overall hockey experience, this camp is like no other these kids will experience as a youth hockey player,” said HP 15 Boys Program Manager, Scott Dornfeld. “Our coaches and counselors are always excited about coming to camp. They know how great an experience it is for these kids because some of them participated in it not so long ago, and others have been helping with it for almost 20 years.”

The staff at the Summer Festival includes Minnesota Hockey officials along with prominent college and high school coaches teamed with current and former college hockey players to serve as coaches, role models and counselors for each team.

"These players are not only getting to interact and perform in front of college coaches and scouts, but they have the chance to talk with current college players," said HP 15 Girls Program Manager, Nancy Wefler. "The ability to get that first hand information from someone experiencing it right now has a big impact on these girls."

The top players during the Summer Festival will be chosen to represent Minnesota Hockey at a national festival/camp sponsored by USA Hockey involving the best players from each of the USA Hockey districts. The national festivals/camps are used by USA Hockey to identify the top performers in each age group for possible opportunities to represent the U.S.A. at advanced levels of national and international hockey competition.
