Cole Bumgarner (Rogers) tallied four assists, while Zac Zimmerman (Moorhead) scored twice and Nate Chorlton (CDH) added two points as White 16 topped B16 Blue via 5-3 final Saturday afternoon on Rink C at Plymouth Ice Center.
Mason Schreiber (Mankato West) stopped 20 of 21 shots and Corbin Shandly (Chisago Lakes) stopped 10 of 12 in net for White.
Blue got its scoring on goals from Max Bies (East Grand Forks Bantam AA), Brock Cheslock (Rogers) and Hunter Doroff (White Bear Lake Bantam AA).
Boys 17: Black , White
Mason Jenson (Rogers) tallied three points, Kyle Heger (Shattuck-St. Mary's) and Max Anderson (Cretin Derham Hall) both added two as White 17 rolled to a 5-1 victory over Black 17.
Carter Casey (Grand Rapids) and Grayson Hanggi (SSM) combined for 43 saves in net for White.
Brent Solomon (Champlin Park) scored Black's goal, a tip-in on a shot from the blue line by Landon Cottingham (Hill-Murray).
Boys 16: Black , Royal Blue
Max Cullen (Moorhead), Luke Puchner (Shattuck-St. Mary's) and Liam Schultz (Minnetonka Bantam AA) all scored to push Black 16 past Blue 16, 3-2.
Lincoln Ayers Assad (Holy Angels) scored twice for Blue.
Leyton Rinehart (Hill-Murray) and Aiden Finn (New Hampshire Mountain Kings) combined for 21 saves for Blue.
Boys 17: Black , Royal Blue
Parker Deschene (Rogers) finished with two goals and two assists to help lead Black 17 to a 5-2 win over Blue 17 Saturday at PIC.
Luke Portner (Windy City Storm), KJ Sauer (Andover), and Owen Corkish (Park) also scored for Black in the victory.
In net, Gavin Greniuk (Elk River) and Brady Krey (Omaha U16) stopped 31 shots to seal the victory for Black.
Blue got its scoring from Kade Stengrim (Brainer) and Cooper Siegert (Shakopee).
Boys 16: White , Black
Luke Patraw (Elk River) scored in overtime to lift Black 16 to a 5-4 win over White 16 Saturday evening at PIC.
Wyatt Kuznik (Maple Grove Bantam AA) and Luke Puchner (Shattuck-St. Mary's) both finished with two points each for Black. Also scoring for Black was Max Cullen (Moorhead), Drew Simonich (Moorhead BAA), Casey Vandertop (Edina), and Ethan Sturgis (Minnetonka).
White found its scoring from Zac Zimmerman (Moorhead), Cole Bumgarner (Rogers), Chris Pyle (Wayzata) and Nate Chorlton (CDH).
Boys 17: White , Royal Blue
Mason Grinnell (Northstar Christian Academy), Tyden Bergeson (Moorhead), Logan Smith (Chanhassen), and Rio Treharne (Eden Prairie) all tallied a goal and assist as the Blue 17s top White 17s in the nightcap at PIC, 6-2.
Mason Jenson (Rogers) finished with a goal and assist for White.
Blue poured on 44 shots and never trailed.
Cal Conway (Andover) stopped all 11 shots he faced in the first half, and Owen Lunneborg (Fox Motors 16U) stopped 13 of 15 shots to secure the win for Blue.
