Summary
Chris Anderson, a White Bear Lake native, played high school hockey for White Bear Lake before playing in the USHL and then at St. Cloud State for four years. Upon graduation, Chris became a volunteer assistant coach for the White Bear Lake Boy's Varsity team and had been a full-time assistant for 15 years. He enters his 16th year with White Bear Lake as the Head Coach this year.
DESCRIPTION
- The drill starts as a 2v1 out of the corner, with F1 and F2 going the length of the ice against D1.
- As the 2v1 goes by the two D2, the two D2 pop out.
- F1 and F2 crash the net and try to score, with D1 defending.
- F1 and F2 curl towards the corner with F3, and then all three go back down the ice in a 3v2 against the two D2.
- D1 curls up and joins the forwards as a supporting trailer option.
KEY POINTS
- Focus on getting up the ice quickly.
- Take the middle ice and support behind.
- Play off the pad or pass, and shoot off the pass.
- Drive the middle.
- Use F3 and trailing D1.
