Minnesota Hockey has announced the rosters for the 2023 CCM High Performance 15 Summer Development Camps. The week-long camps for the top boys and girls hockey players in Minnesota will be held in June at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN and St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.
The Girls 15 camp will take place June 10-15, and the Boys 15 will run from June 11-16.
A total of 102 players were selected for each of the camps based on players’ performance in the 2023 HP 15 Spring Festivals.
Players at the summer camps will be exposed to a series of on-ice and off-ice development sessions, including areas such as proper weight training and stretching techniques, developing mental skills, video sessions and position specific skills. Players will also be split into teams and compete against other top players in games each day, providing opportunities for players to implement what they learn in practice.
The camp is led by current and former coaches from the Division I, Division III and high school levels. Current college players at the Division I and III levels will serve as counselors.
The top players from the Boys and Girls 15 Development Camps will be chosen to represent Minnesota Hockey at a national festival/camp sponsored by USA Hockey involving the best players from each of the USA Hockey districts. The national festivals/camps are used by USA Hockey to identify the top performers in each age group for possible opportunities to represent the U.S.A. at advanced levels of national and international hockey competition.
