District 16 - 1, District 6 - 2

District 6 remained undefeated (4-0-0) with a late second half goal from Gianna Neist (Prior Lake) to top District 16, 2-1.

Jasmine Hovada (Roseau) put District 16 up first at 15:31 of the first half with a shot from the right circle.

Natalie McNeil (Eden Prairie) tied the game 1-1 at 10:35 potting a rebound.

Neist found herself alone for the game-winner at 3:30 of the second half and the eventual win.

District 16 goalies made 11 saves (Jordyn Werk, 7; Ava Myhre, 4), and District 6 goalies stopped 15 (Ashlyn Hazlett, 4; Nora Hannan, 11).

 

District 5 - 3, District 15 - 0

River Lakes teammates Sophia Hess and Abigail Storms each had a goal and an assist for District 5, while Nichole Schumm (North Wright County, 4 saves) and Ava Jovan (Buffalo, 9 saves) combined for 13 saves in a 3-0 shutout win.

Teagan Ruprecht (St. Cloud) opened the scoring with a tip at 12:01 of the first half. Storms increased the lead 2-0 at 10:00, and Hess tallied the third and final goal at the doorstep at 5:21 of the second half.

Rachael Mohr (Alexandria) made 9 saves and Taylor Kressin (Moorhead) stopped 5.

 

District 8 - 2, District 2 - 1

Sadie Roth’s (East Ridge) two goals propelled District 8 to a 2-1 victory over familiar faces in District 2.

Roth beat Taylor Thompson (Forest Lake, 8 saves) glove side at 5:57 of the first half for an early 1-0 lead.

Kasey Senden (Hill-Murray) tied the game 1-1 at 8:20 of the second half with a wrist shot through traffic on the power play.

Roth put District 8 back on top at 7:28 with a snap shot to the corner.

With Lily Peterfeso (Roseville, 14 saves) pulled for the extra attacker on an already man-advantage power play, District 2 appeared to tie the game 2-2 with 13.3 seconds left but officials recalled the goal due to high-sticking.

Rosemount’s Sophie Stramel assisted on each of Roth’s goals.

Addison Moudry (7) and Sydney Ries (10) combined for 17 saves for District 8.

 

District 3 - 1 District 10 - 6

Maya Engler (Andover) got the hattrick and Madelyn Wostrel (Champlin Park, 4 saves) and Lauren Lafferty (Anoka, 4 saves) combined for 8 saves.

Engler notched two goals in the first and tallied her third in the second half. Avery Kasick (Andover) had two goals and an assist, and Courtney Little (Andover) had a goal and an assist.

Macy Rasmussen (Orono) denied District 10 of the shutout with a goal.

 

District 11/12 - 3, District 4/9 - 2

Ashleyn Paukert (Northfield) and Averi Vetsch (Owatanna) scored 1:09 a part in the second half to bring District 4/9 close to District 11/12 but ultimately were defeated.

Kylie Debay (Grand Rapids-Greenway) scored twice, and Mercury Bischoff (Grand Rapids-Greenway) notched the game-winner at 2:27 of the second half for District 11/12.

District 4/9 goalied Ida Huber (Dodge County, 9 saves) and Jayda Moyer (Albert Lea, 9 saves) combined for 18 saves.

 

District 15 - 1, District 16 - 7

Roseau’s Jasmine Hovda and Lily Erickson each scored twice en route to a 7-1 win against District 15. Levi LeMieur (Brainerd) denied District 16 the shutout with a goal at 18:27

District 16 peppered District 15 goalies Taylor Kressin (Moorhead, 14 saves) and Rachael Mohr (Alexandria, 14 saves) with 35 shots.
