District 6 vs district 16

District 6 flexed their muscle in the first half, jumping out to a 6-0 lead. District 16 closed the gap in the second half but District 6 added three more goals for a 9-0 win. Kendra Distad (Minnetonka) had four goals and two assists to lead District 6.

District 15 vs district 8

The second game of the day was a very evenly matched game and showcased great sportsmanship, with only one penalty the whole game. District 15 netted one goal right before the first half ended and extended their lead to 2-0 in the second half. District 8 snuck in a goal late in the game to make the score of 2-1, but District 15 held on for the victory.

District 2 vs district 5

District 2 controlled the game from the start, but District 5 played aggressively and kept the game close in the first half. District 2 pulled away in the second half with six goals for a final score of 9-0. Madelyn Kemplin (Hill-Murray) and Amanda Smythe (White Bear Lake) each tallied a hat trick in the game.

District 3 vs District 10

District 3 outplayed District 10 heavily throughout the game en route to the third shutout of the day. Both District 10 goalies played well, with each making 18 saves. Pimsiri Wilhelmy (Osseo-Maple Grove) had two goals and Jenna Britz (Wayzata) had one goal and two assists for District 3.

Districts 11 & 12 vs Districts 4 & 9

Districts 11 & 12 jumped out to a strong first half, scoring three goals. In the second half, the speed and competition increased, making for a a lot of back and forth action. Sandra Ribich (Moose Lake) scored one goal and two assists, having the most points of the game. Districts 4 & 9 applied pressure throughout the game but had no luck getting anything past the goalies, eventually falling 4-0 to Districts 11 & 12.

District 15 vs District 16

District 15 peppered their neighbors from the north throughout the game, posting over 50 totals shots in the game. Peyton Weidemann (Bemidji), who played the majority of the game after her fellow goalie got injured, made 42 saves for District 16. Taylor Brueske (Moorhead) led the charge for the District 15 offense with a hat trick and an assist.
