The first weekend of action at the CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Youth Tier I 15-Only League was three days of high-level competition taking place at Burnsville Ice Center and Pagel Ice Center in Minnetonka.

Eight teams participated in three days of games. Seven of the eight teams hitting the ice hail from Minnesota while Team Wisconsin was the lone team from outside the state.

After one weekend of play, Team Wisconsin and the Blue Ox sit atop the standings after each team won all three of its games. Team Wisconsin went unbeaten while outscoring its opponents 17-4. The Blue Ox, meanwhile, completed an unbeaten weekend by knocking off the Lakers 3-2 on Sunday.

After three games, Wyatt Carlson (Wayzata) leads all skaters with 7 points (2 goals, 5 assists). Devin Cardenas (Mahtomedi) and Jake Harris (Hastings) are tied for second with six points each. Team Wisconsin goaltender Adam Prokop leads all goaltenders with a .952 save percentage.

After taking a weekend off for the Labor Day holiday, action continues in the Youth 15-only league the following weekend. Games will take place at Fogerty Arena in Blaine.
