  4. Scheduling can be flexible for the right candidate, hockey events will likely include evenings and weekends as schedule and ice times allow
  5. Ability to travel within the state of MN for out of tournaments
  6. Hiring is conditional on the successful completion of a criminal background check; applicants should also either possess or be able to attain required background clearances and necessary USA Hockey coaching certification

DinoMights Minneapolis and St. Paul seeking coaches for the 2023-24 Season

DinoMights is looking for passionate and dedicated volunteer youth coaches for all levels (mite, squirt, peewee, and 10U/12U girls). DinoMights is a non-profit organization that serves the Central, Powderhorn Park, and Phillips neighborhoods of South Minneapolis and West Side St. Paul. DinoMights provides a powerful combination of traditional enrichment through recreation and intentional strategies that respond to children’s unique developmental and academic needs.

Time commitment:

Hastings High School Seeks Assistant Girls Hockey Coach.

Hastings High School is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as Assistant Girls Hockey Coach.

Candidates are desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate level coaching experience, and/or related successful experiences in educational leadership. Hopkins Youth Hockey Seeking Paid Coaches for Youth Boys Teams

We are seeking passionate and experienced youth hockey coaches to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing practice plans, leading team meetings, managing game strategies, and coaching players of various ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement practice plans that focus on improving individual player skills and team strategies

-Lead team meetings and communicate team goals and expectations to players and parents

-Manage game strategies and provide in-game coaching and adjustments

-Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games

-Attend all practices, games, and team events

-Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for all players, coaches, and officials

-Monitor and maintain equipment, including ensuring proper fitting and safety checks

-Work collaboratively with other coaches and team staff to ensure a successful and enjoyable season

Requirements (preferred):

-Previous coaching experience in youth hockey

-Strong knowledge of hockey rules, strategies, and techniques

-Ability to effectively communicate with players, parents, and staff

-USA Hockey Coaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
