Youth Tier I 13O

The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Tier I Leagues provide the top players from each district a chance to play with and against the best players in the state. For the 2025-26 season, the Youth 13 Only classification is for players born in 2012. The Leagues are conducted in accordance with USA Hockey rules, and all teams are eligible for USA Hockey’s Tier I National Championships.

There will be ten teams from the 12 Minnesota Hockey Districts.

The tryout process will be held in May, June, or July with competition weekends starting in August and running through early October. On-ice skill development practices and off-ice training sessions will vary based on each District. There will be 20 games competing against Minnesota teams, Team Wisconsin, Team North Dakota, and other teams from around the United States visiting Minnesota.

In partnership with TRIA, the Tier I opening weekend will once again kick off the season in mid-August.

May/June - 2025 Tryouts

August & September - Local practice sessions & competition weekends. *SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE*

  • Aug. 8 - 10: Training Camp & Opening Weekend (St. Cloud & Sartell)
  • Aug. 15 - 17: League Games (Victoria & Chaska)
  • Aug. 22 - 24: League Games (Victoria & Chaska)
  • Aug. 29 - Sept. 1: No Games (Labor Day Weekend)
  • Sept. 5 - 7: League Games (Moorhead)
  • Sept. 12 - 14: League Playoffs (Plymouth)
  • Sept. 26 - 28: TBD

*Minnesota Hockey may schedule weekday games for teams as well.*

October 3 - 5 - Minnesota District Playoffs - Plymouth Ice Center

The winner will advance to the USA Hockey National Championships.

2025 USA Hockey Tier I National Championships:
April 1 - 6, 2025, Plymouth, Michigan
