The 2024 Minnesota Hockey CCM High Performance Shooting Camp and is set for Aug. 1-4 at St Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.

NEW - All participants will be required to wear neck laceration protection during the camp. Invites will be emailed to eligible participants in early May. The registration fee is $700. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Boys and girls who make their district/section teams in Minnesota Hockey's Spring (14-16) High Performance Festivals will be invited to participate. The camp will feature 50 shooters and 50 goalies.

"It's a great opportunity for players in our High Performance programs to learn what it takes to score more goals so they can elevate their game to new levels,” said Mike MacMillan, director, Minnesota Hockey’s High Performance programs. “Players will train with top coaches and practice their shooting skills on some of our state’s best high school goalies.”

Shooters will get 12 hours of on-ice instruction plus several hours of off-ice and classroom instruction.

2023 SHOOTING CAMP RECAP

The 2023 Minnesota Hockey CCM High Performance Shooting Camp was held Aug. 3-6 at St. Olaf College.

"I am glad I had the opportunity to attend the HP Shooting Camp. I can't wait to take things I learned to my hometown and on the ice for my sophomore high school season," said Brynn Erickson from Detroit Lakes.

"I really liked the opportunity to shoot on different goalies while working on the many new shooting techniques I learned from the shooting coaches," said Zach Zins from Mahtomedi.

Four Minnesotans who play college or Jr. Hockey served as counselors including Lily Mortenson, (Champlin, Minn.) who plays at Gustavus; Gianna Gasparini, (Lakeville, MInn,) who plays at Gustavus, Tyler Hadfield (Benson, Minn.) and Dylan Carlson (Albert Lea, Minn.) who both play for the Steele County Blades.
