Body contact and body checking are key parts of this fast and exhilarating game. To play at the top of your game, it is critical to be able to give and receive checks without worrying about the potential for injury.
Minnesota Hockey is proud to provide body contact and checking clinics designed to ease the transition into Bantams and develop those skills. These clinics will help train your game so that you have the skills and confidence to play to the best of your abilities in tight, physical situations while also reducing the likelihood of injury.
Minnesota Hockey offers two levels of body contact clinics. Body contact and checking clinics are primarily designed for players entering their first season of body checking, but all Peewee and Bantam players are eligible to participate. To participate in the advanced body contact clinics, players must have completed at least one season at the Bantam level.
All Peewee and Bantam players are eligible to participate.
