The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Tier I Leagues provide the top players from each district or section a chance to play with and against the best players in the state. For the 2025-26 season, the Youth 16U classification is for players born in 2010. The Leagues are conducted in accordance with USA Hockey rules and all teams are eligible for USA Hockey’s Tier I National Championships.

League Highlights:

• Training Camp at Amsoil Arena in Duluth under the direction of college & league coaches. Players will stay Sunday & Monday night close to rink with UMD college players as team counselors.
• 15-20 regular season games plus playoffs.
• Participate in NAHL Showcase Tournament.
• Tier I status including competition against Tier I programs and an opportunity to compete for a chance to represent Minnesota at the 2026 USA Hockey Tier I National Championships!
• No events on Labor Day or MEA weekends.
• Consideration for USHL Fall Classic.
• Season concludes prior to high school season and schedule allows you to participate in other fall sports or hockey training programs including your high school captain's practices!
