48 communities in Minnesota will provide children throughout the state an opportunity to skate, shoot and score this Saturday, November 10 as a part of USA Hockey’s Try Hockey For Free Day, presented by SportsEngine.
The Try Hockey For Free Days, which have introduced more the 166,000 children to hockey nationwide, are designed to provide kids ages four to nine the opportunity to experience the game of hockey at no cost. Host sites will provide equipment for children to borrow and no experience is needed to attend. Local youth associations will also have certified USA Hockey coaches, volunteers and even current players on the ice to help participants learn to skate.
