Week 2 | Girls 14U Tier I League

The Girls 14 Tier 1 League kicked off the weekend with a 2-2 tie between the Polars and North Dakota at the Super Rink.  Back at Fogerty, the Lakers took on Wisconsin and defeated them 2-0, while the Loons and the Moose ended in a 1-1 tie.  For the last game of the night, the Green Giants took on the Walleye, defeating them 5-1.

Saturday morning kicked off with the Moose beating North Dakota 5-3.  The Lakers took on the Green Giants and defeated them 4-1 while Wisconsin beat the Loons 3-1 on the opposing ice.  The Walleye defeated the Voyaguers 7-1.  Annika Johnson, Hailey Eikos and Chloe Lewis logged both a goal and an assist for the game.  Maddy Helmstetter assisted in two of the goal.  We finished out the morning with the Polars defeating the Blue Ox 7-2. 

Evening games kicked off with the Walleye defeating Wisconsin 4-1.  The Loons defeated the Polars 2-1 at Fogerty, while the Lakers took the win 7-1 over the Blue Ox.  In the last game of the night, the Moose defeated the Voyageurs 5-2.

Sunday kicked off with a 10-1 win for the Green Giants over the Moose.  Both Isabelle Goettl and Sara Kaiser logged hat tricks for the Green Giants.  Goalie Margaret Vance saved over 90% of her shots.  Meanwhile on the opposite rink, the Blue Ox defeated the Loons 4-1.  The last two games of the weekend saw the Polars defeat the Walleye in a competitive 6-5 game, and the Lakers took home the win with a 2-1 lead over the Voyageurs.
