Week 2 | Youth 14U Tier I League

This weekend Fogerty Arena in Blaine hosted the Youth 14U CCM High Performance Tier I league.  They kicked it off Thursday evening with a 1-1 tie between the Moose and the Loons.  Friday the Polars started the evening with a win over the Loons, 4-1.  Second game of the night was a 5-5 tie between the Walleye and the Lakers.

Saturday morning the Lakers defeated North Dakota 7-2.  The Lakers Prescot Sexton brought home a hat trick.  Next up was the Loons taking on the Voyageurs, winning the game 8-0, and the Blue Ox tying the Polars 2-2.  The afternoon sessions kicked off with the Blue Ox defeating North Dakota 5-4.  In the last two games of the night, the Moose beat the Polars 7-2, and the Green Giants ended the night by defeating the Voyageurs 7-1.

Sunday kicked off with the Walleye winning over the Green Giants 5-2.  On the opposing rink, the Blue Ox defeated the Loons 8-2.  Blue Ox’s Matthew Peters took home a hat trick.  The weekend ended with the Lakers defeating the Voyageurs 9-1 with Jack Seaverson taking home a hat trick, and North Dakota defeating the Green Giants 3-2.
