The 14’s kicked Monday off with dry land work at Husky Stadium on the campus of St. Cloud State University, with graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach, Nate Welty. Welty took the boys through a series of sprint and agility workouts for a conditioning session prior to their afternoon games. Following their first games of the week, all of the 14’s had the opportunity to shoot some pool, play ping pong or hit the lanes for a game of bowling in the Atwood Memorial Student Center at St. Cloud State. Following the first day of camp, HP 14 Program director, Jacob Mars stated, “Our camp stresses on-ice development, proper off-ice workouts and the importance of team building. We’re extremely pleased with how this group has come together and learned to play as a team. Great day at camp!”

Sky Blue defeated the Gold squad in the first game of the camp by a score of 5-2. Mason Moree, Benjamin Wackman and Izaak Keefe all scored one goal while Riley Spindler tallied two in their win.
