The High Performance Shooting Camp is now full for 2018.

Minnesota Hockey is offering a new development program that is designed to help players improve their shooting and scoring skills. The new CCM High Performance Shooting Camp will be held, Aug. 2-5, at St. Cloud State University, in conjunction with Minnesota Hockey’s Dave Peterson High Performance Goalie Camp.

“This is a great opportunity for players in our High Performance programs to learn what it takes to score more goals so they elevate their game to new levels,” said Mike MacMillan, director, Minnesota Hockey’s High Performance programs. “Players will train with top coaches and practice their shooting skills on some of our state’s best high school goalies.”

Boys and girls who make their district/section teams in the Minnesota Hockey’s 15-16-17 High Performance programs this spring will be eligible to participate.

Enrollment will be split into two, two-day sessions of 12 boys and 12 girls, for a total of 48 players. The first session will participate Thursday-Friday, Aug. 2-3. The second session will occur on Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 4-5. Participants will be housed in the dorms at St. Cloud State University.

  • Session #1: Opens Thursday at 11 am and concludes Friday at 6:30 pm
  • Session #2: Opens Saturday at 7 am and concludes Sunday at 12:00 pm

Eligible players will be emailed the registration link in early May. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $295 per participant for six-hours of on-ice instruction, off-ice training, lodging and three meals.

Instructors from USA Hockey’s American Development Model program and Minnesota college coaches will lead the camp.
