District 16 scores twice in the final 24 minutes against District 5 to salvage a 2-2 draw. Peyton Mathiasen got the ball rolling scoring the first goal of the game just 6:24 into the contest. Lydia Niemela had to lone assist on the Mathiasen goal. Charita Lewis extended the D5 lead with a nice wrist shot to find the back of the net. Cassidy Mack and Ginerva Johnson registered the two second half goals to pull even with D5. Mack’s goal was assisted by Kassidy Flemling and Rylee Solheim.
