All of the excitement of District 16 and District 4/9 was saved for the final 4:40 of the game as both teams found the back of the net a combined three times. Liberty Fettig scored her third goal of the weekend scoring first in today’s contest. Fettig found the back of the net with a nice wrist shot from the middle of the slot. The game would remain 1-0 until Eliza Dinatale fired a wrist shot from the high slot that found the back of the net with 4:40 left in regulation to increase the D4/9 lead to 2-0. Just 51 seconds later, Cassidy Mack pulled D16 within one putting home a rebound out front. Allison Dulitz nullified any comeback hopes for D16 with her late goal with 2:07 left.
