District 3 (White) and District 8 (Orange) played in the first game of day two. D3 skated by D8 by a final score of 4-1. D3 saw three first period goals coming from Caitlyn Leising, Julia Stevens and Tristana Tur. 4:53 into the second half, Sophia Melsness made it 4-0 D3 with her backhand shot from the slot. Jayden Seifert iced the hopes of D8 to come away with the festivals first shutout with her late goal with just 3:40 left in regulation. D3 was outshot 21-23 in the contest.
