Minnesota Hockey would like to recognize Kendra Distad of the Burnsville Hockey Club. Kendra was selected as a finalist for the 2016 HEP Essay Contest for her response to “Hockey teaches me about…”. As a finalist, Kendra’s essay (below) was featured by FSN during their Hockey Day Minnesota broadcast, and she had the opportunity to attend a Minnesota Wild game this season.
