For the second time in two years, the USA Hockey National Sled Development Team is hosting a series of team practices at Braemar Arena in Edina, MN this weekend.

"The U.S. Sled Development Team is made up of a gifted and talented group of hockey players who are truly amazing to coach," said head coach and Minnesota native Mike MacMillan. "It is with great pride we are able to bring the players back to the State Of Hockey!"

The development team consists of some of the top sled hockey players in the country. The primary goal of the team is to provide players with an additional training opportunity in preparation and anticipation of eventually making the U.S. National Sled team, which has become the premiere Paralympic team in the U.S. after winning back-to-back gold medals in 2010 and 2014, as well as being named the 2015 Paralympic Team of the Year.

Each of the team's practices will be held at Braemar Arena's outdoor rink and are open to the public. A list of practice times are available below.
