54 Communities to Host Try Hockey For Free This Saturday

On Saturday, November 7, 2015, Minnesota Hockey and local associations across the state will encourage kids, ages 4 to 9, to come to a local participating rink and try youth hockey at no cost as a part of USA Hockey's national Try Hockey For Free day.

A total of 54 communities in Minnesota will be participating in Try Hockey For Free day this Saturday by hosting an event at their arena.  Each host will have a limited amount of equipment available. All participants are required to have a minimum of a helmet, skates and gloves. If you will need help with equipment, we encourage you to contact the event host where you will be participating in advance.

Notes: Try Hockey For Free Day is part of Come Play Hockey Month, which provides children the opportunity to play hockey. USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free Day, with the support of the National Hockey League and NHL member clubs, among others, has introduced more than 90,000 children to the sport across the nation, including a record 28,446 in 2013-14.
