Another hockey season is in the record books, and after a short break, it will be time to start preparing for next year.  I regularly ask the question “Are you just playing hockey or training to be a hockey player?”  If you are training to be a hockey player, there’s a different set of rules.

Many of you student athletes play more than one sport, but you need to be regularly working on your stick handling and shooting.  During on-ice practices and games, you just don’t get enough puck touches in order to develop elite level skills.  If you want to continue to climb the hockey ladder, you have to be disciplined and block out a part of your day for hockey training.

Let me introduce you to Snipers Edge Hockey and Online Hockey Training.  Both companies were founded by former NHLer’s Lance Pitlick and Scott Bjugstad to specialize in helping players continue to work on improving your hockey skills. The best part is all the training can be accomplished in the comforts of your home, garage or basement.

Snipers Edge Hockey gives you the ability to create your own at-home hockey training facility.  From shooting tarps or flooring to pass returners, Snipers Edge is the one stop shop that can fulfill any of your hockey training aid needs.

Online Hockey Training is a subscription based stick handling and shooting program.   You’ll have access to up to 50 different training modules or homework assignments, covering dribbling, faking, expansion of reach, toe control and cupping, all of which combine to make the jaw dropping fakes and dekes you see in highlight reels.   Plus, you’ll learn to get the technology in today’s sticks working for you through our lessons that incorporate shots from a variety of positions.

If you have lofty goals and want to see how good you can get, let Snipers Edge Hockey and Online Hockey Training show you the way.
