Smiles. That was the word of the day on Saturday, November 2nd. Across Minnesota, a record setting number of over 1,800 kids ages 4-12 took the ice at one of 73 locations as a part of Try Hockey For Free Day.

There is just something extra special about a young boy or girl taking their first steps on the ice, and that is never more evident than on the annual Try Hockey For Free Day put on by USA Hockey and the NHL. For those of you that weren't able to make it to the rink and enjoy that wonderful experience first hand, here is your chance to relive it.

But first, we have to say a few very important thank you's.
