Starting Monday, Oct. 29, local associations throughout Minnesota will have the opportunity to win special prizes by participating in the Fruchi® Fundraising Contest.  The contest will run through February, culminating in a total of twelve prize winners being selected during the 12&Under B Regional Tournament in Marshall, MN on March 1-3. 

To enter the contest, an association must place at least six minimum orders (four cases per order or 24 total cases) to receive one entry for the drawing.  An association can earn additional entries for each minimum order (four cases) they place above and beyond that initial requirement.

The final day of the contest will be Thursday, Feb. 28.  Associations may continue to purchase Fruchi® products for fundraising events after that date, but they will no longer earn contest entries.  During the weekend of Minnesota Hockey’s Regional Tournaments, the Fruchi® team will randomly select the winners of the following prizes.

·        Grand Prize is 25 wristbands to Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America; 25 passes to Moose Mountain Adventure Golf at the Mall of America; 25 passes to the Ropes Wall at the Mall of America; and 25 food vouchers for use at the Mall of America (ARV $48/person or $1200). 

·        Second Prize is an autographed hockey stick from the 2011-2012 Minnesota Wild Hockey Team (ARV $500).

·        Third Prize is a $250 gift certificate from Total Hockey. Ten winners will be selected for this prize (ARV $2500).

The goal of this contest and these prizes are for Fruchi® and Minnesota Hockey to assist associations in fundraising and growing the game.  For example, the grand prize could be distributed to the team(s) that fundraise the most money over the course of the season.  The autographed stick would be a great silent auction item, and Total Hockey gift certificates can be used to provide new skaters with starter equipment.
