Minnesota Hockey has released the rosters for the 2013 USA Hockey Select 16 and 17 National Player Development Camps.  The top boys’ and girls’ players were selected to represent Minnesota based on their performance in the Reebok High Performance Final 54 Festival held in Plymouth.  These players will have the opportunity to participate against the best players from each of the USA Hockey districts.

“We’re excited to announce the players that will be representing Minnesota at the national camps this summer,” said High Performance Director, Mike MacMillan. “This is a great moment in each of their young careers. It will be an opportunity for them to train with and against the best players in the country.”

The Boys’ 17 (1996) will start off the series of national player development camps on June 27-July 3 with the Boys’ 16  camp taking place on July 7-13.  All of the boys’ camps will be held in Williamsville, NY.  The Girls’  16 and 17 National Player Development Camps will be held together, July 10-16 in St. Cloud, MN.

Each of the rosters have been placed on the Minnesota Hockey website.

The Reebok Minnesota Hockey High Performance Programs are conducted in conjunction with USA Hockey and are referred to as “Select” programs in other parts of the country. The national festivals/camps are used by USA Hockey to identify the top performers in each age group for possible opportunities to represent the U.S.A. at advanced levels of national and international hockey competition.
