West Bend Insurance is proud to continue their support of Gear Up Minnesota! This is West Bend’s second season contributing to Gear Up Minnesota!, a grant program that has provided over 900 sets of starter equipment to community based associations in the past two years.

“West Bend wants to support the things that matter to our clients,” said Kevin Rausch, Director of Marketing with West Bend.  “Hockey is culturally important to Minnesotans and it is a privilege to play a role in the sport’s continued growth throughout the state.”  

Associations can use equipment starter sets to attract new players and make hockey more accessible by eliminating the initial cost of equipment. 

“Minnesota Hockey is extremely thankful to West Bend for their generosity and support of youth hockey," said Minnesota Hockey Executive Director, Glen Andresen. "This contribution will help to continue the growth of hockey in Minnesota by providing access to kids who may not have otherwise tried to play our great game.”
