Minnesota Disabled Hockey would like to say thank you to the Prairie Island Indian Community!  Prairie Island was recognized during the Minnesota Wild home game on March 3rd for their support of the disabled hockey programs in Minnesota.

The Prairie Island Indian Community has long been a tremendous supporter of youth hockey throughout Minnesota.  Over the last four years, their donations to Minnesota Disabled Hockey have helped it become the largest hockey program for people with disabilities in the nation. Minnesota Disabled Hockey provides sled hockey for those with physical disabilities, special hockey for those with developmental disabilities, and a Warriors program for injured veterans.

Prairie Island Indian Community has played a major role in making it possible for every person in Minnesota, regardless of disability, to play hockey. Thank you for assuring that hockey in Minnesota is for everyBODY!
