Eight different associations hosted Try Hockey for Free events Saturday, February 16 as part of Hockey Weekend Across America presented by CCM.  As of today, six sites had reported their final registration numbers bringing the total participation to almost 150 kids or nearly 25 new players per Try Hockey for Free event.

Minnesota Hockey would like to say thank you to the following associations for their efforts in growing the game and congratulations for the success they witnessed in doing so.

• Hibbing/Chisholm
• Luverne
• Princeton
• Sartell

Similar national Try Hockey for Free events will be held next season in collaboration with USA Hockey and the NHL.  Wouldn't your association benefit from an extra 25 players? If so, stay tuned to the Minnesota Hockey website for additional information in the coming months.
