The 6-foot-1, 195 pound Lee posted an 8-6-2 record with a 2.23 goals against average and a .930 save percentage with St. Cloud State (WCHA) in 16 games this season.  Of note, Lee ranked second in the WCHA this season (overall games played) for goals against average and he ranked first in the WCHA this season (overall games played) for save percentage.

Lee's career goals against average of 2.65 ranks fifth in team history, while his career save percentage of .917 ranks fourth.  In his career, Lee charted a 32-29-9 record., which places him eighth for career wins at SCSU.

"Mike had a tremendous career here at St. Cloud State and has played a key role in the success of our program over the past three seasons," SCSU coach Bob Motzko said.  "Mike's skills and play-making abilities placed him among the best in college hockey, and he will certainly be remembered as one of the premiere goalies in the history of the Husky hockey program at St. Cloud State.

"We thank Mike for all of his contributions to our program and wish him the best as he embarks on his professional hockey career."

Lee led Team USA to the gold medal game at the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship in Saskatoon, Sask., posting an undefeated record of 4-0 with a 2.50 GAA and a .908 SV% in five games. Lee recorded the third-best SV% among tournament goaltenders.

Lee was selected by the Coyotes in the third round (91st overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.

The Huskies completed the 2011-12 season with a 17-17-5, 12-12-4 WCHA record.  SCSU earned a first-round sweep of Nebraska-Omaha in WCHA postseason play, which allowed the Huskies to advance to the WCHA Final Five tournament in St. Paul this winter.
