As part of Hockey Weekend Across America, Minnesota Hockey and USA Hockey hosted over 100 mite hockey players during four American Development Model (ADM) clinics on the Wells Fargo WinterSkate rink on February 19th.  The rink measured just 100 feet X 80 feet and is located in heart of downtown St. Paul just two blocks from the Xcel Energy Center.

In front of a national TV audience on NBC, the young players enjoyed a fast paced Red, White & Blue practice that emphasized small-area games, skating, skill development, and most of all fun!  “The small sheet was perfect for these clinics,” said Terry Evavold, Minnesota Hockey ADM Director.  “32 players took part in each clinic with four separate skill stations occurring simultaneously.  After the clinics, many parents commented on how impressed they were with how much can get done in such a small space.”
