Minnesota Hockey Announces New Executive Director
St. Paul, Minn. – Minnesota Hockey is proud to announce that Sadie Lundquist has been named the organization’s new Executive Director. After an extensive search and interview process with numerous qualified candidates, Minnesota Hockey’s administrative management group identified Lundquist as the ideal leader to guide the organization into the future.
Lundquist joins Minnesota Hockey from College Hockey Inc., where she served as the first-ever Director of Women’s Hockey. In that groundbreaking role, she spearheaded leadership initiatives, expanded national exposure, developed strategic partnerships, and advanced communications, media, and educational programming across all levels of the sport.
Prior to College Hockey Inc., Lundquist was Senior Manager of Client Strategy & Services at Minneapolis-based marketing agency Bold Orange, collaborating with high-profile clients to define marketing objectives and build annual strategic plans. She also spent eight years with the Minnesota Wild, ultimately serving as Senior Account Representative for Fan Relations. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in member retention, revenue growth, and strengthening corporate partnerships, while also helping grow the game through initiatives such as Girls’ Hockey Weekend, youth hockey nights, and community programs.
A native of Cloquet, Minn., Lundquist’s roots in the game run deep. She played collegiate hockey at Bemidji State University, serving as team captain during the 2012–13 season and earning WCHA All-Academic Team honors from 2009–2013. She was also a member of the inaugural Minnesota Whitecaps team that captured the 2018 Isobel Cup in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL).
“Minnesota Hockey is thrilled to welcome Sadie to our team,” said Steve Oleheiser, MN Hockey Board President. “Her passion for the game, leadership experience, and proven track record in growing hockey at all levels will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our community-based model and grow the game across Minnesota.”
Please join us in welcoming Sadie Lundquist to the Minnesota Hockey family as she begins this exciting new chapter leading the organization on September 15, 2025.
