DESCRIPTION

  • Step 1: Spot a puck near the wall, retrieve/recover that puck with a shoulder check and deliver the puck to the next person in line. Repeat this.
  • Step 2: Spot a puck near the wall, retrieve/recover that puck with a shoulder check + deception (head, hands, hips or stick) and deliver the puck to the next person in line. Repeat this.
  • Step 3: Spot a puck near the wall, retrieve/recover that puck with a shoulder check + deception, but now the next guy in line applies soft pressure & forces player 1 to look and be deceptive and deliver the puck to the next person in line. Repeat this.
  • Step 4: Player 1 spots a puck near the boards. Player 1 attacks puck + player 2 attacks player 1, trying to force a turnover. It becomes a 1-on-1 battle drill to see who can deliver the puck to the next player in line.
