Boys 17: Blue 6, White 3

Brittan Alstead (Wayzata) scored twice in the first half and Trevor Aberwald (Champlin Park) added two second-half goals as Blue cruised past White to finish the day with a 2-0 record.

Cade De. St. Hubert (Wayzata) had a goal and an assist for Blue. Alstead also has an assist, giving him six points in Saturday's two games.

Gabriel Otis (Des Moines Buccaneers) stopped 18 of 19 shots in the first half for Blue. 

Blue's Szilveszter Lippai (Cretin-Derham Hall) had a goal and an assist.

Boys 16: White 4, Red 4

Red's Bradford Skytta (Hermantown) tied the score at 4-4 with 13:38 left in the second half. Skytta's goal completed the scoring, as overtime was not played.

White and Red both finished the day with 1-0-1 records.

Trey Cook (Minnetonka) put White ahed 4-3 with 14:02 left in the second half.

Gavin Katz (Shattuck-St. Mary's) had two assists for Red. Mason Jenson (Rogers) had two assists for White.

White's Grayson Hanggi (Shattuck-St. Mary's) stopped 10 of 11 second-half shots.

Boys 17: Blue 8, Red 5

Blue scored four unanswered goals to close the first half en route to the victory over Red.

Kamden Kaiser (Northfield), Cade De St. Hubert (Wayzata), Samuel Harris (Mahtomedi) and Brittan Alstead (Wayzata) scored in the final 8:27 of the first half to put Blue ahead 6-3.

Alstead finished with a goal and two assists and teammate Gavin Uhlenkamp (Chanhassen) had two goals.

William Zellers (Shattuck-St. Mary's) scored three goals for Red.

Boys 16: Red 6, Blue 4

Gavin Katz (Shattuck-St. Mary's) scored twice and Charles Stenehjem (Moorhead) stopped eight of nine second-half shots as Red rallied from a two-goal first-half deficit to roar past Blue.

Katz scored both his goals in the second half as Red outscored Blue 5-1. His empty netter with 53 seconds left completed the scoring.

Kyle Heger (Shattuck-St. Mary's) and Mason Grinnell (Holy Family) each had a goal and an assist for Red.

Carson Steinhoff (Shakopee) and Benjamin Galli (Hibbing) had a goal and an assist for Blue.

Boys 17: Red 4, White 3 OT (SO)

Jackson Rudh (Park) scored the lone goal in the shootout and Andrew Reyelts (Proctor) was stellar in goal as Red outlasted White 4-3. 

Reyelts stopped Carson Pilgrim (Warroad), Louis Wehmann (Providence Academy) and Henry Lechner (Holy Angels) in succession in the shootout, setting the stage for Rudh to clinch the victory.

Rudh, who also had a first-half goal, flipped a backhand shot high over Red goaltender Hunter Bauer (Minnetonka) on his shootout attempt.  

Boys 16: White 5, Blue 3

Kade Stengrim (Brainerd) scored twice and Owen Lunneborg (Sioux Falls Power) stopped 22 of 23 second-half shots to lead White past Blue.

Ryder Betzold (Gentry Academy) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal, as he put White ahead 4-3 with 4:54 remaining.

Stengrim opened the scoring in the first half and added an empty-net goal with 1:04 remaining.

Henry Peterson (Hermantown) scored twice for Blue. His goal with 10:10 remaining in the second half put Blue ahead 3-2.
