West Bend Mutual Insurance Co. is a new Minnesota Hockey partner for the 2011-12 season.  Their support will be directly connected to the results of the Minnesota Wild’s new power play unit.  For every power play goal the Wild score in 2011-12, Gear Up Minnesota! will receive one complete set of $200 starter hockey gear.  Gear Up Minnesota! provides starter equipment grants to community-based hockey associations allowing them to attract new players and make hockey more accessible.
