February 26 – District Tournaments must be completed
March 3-5 – Region Tournaments
March 17-19 – State Tournaments
In Minnesota Hockey Region Tournaments, a double elimination format is used to determine which teams will play in the State Tournament for each level. At the Peewee, 12U and Bantam A & B levels, each district receives a pre-determined number of seeds to Regions as indicated in the Minnesota Hockey Handbook.
For the Peewee AA, Bantam AA and Girls 15U classifications, the number of seeds to Regions were allocated proportionally to districts based on the number of teams in each district.
Each Region Tournament for the Peewee, 12U and Bantam levels will send two teams to their respective State Tournament. For the Girls 15U classifications, three teams will advance from the American and National Regions, and two teams will advance to state from the Olympic Region. For Junior Gold State Tournaments, teams and seeds are determined by Junior Gold High School League and Gold Region playdowns.
The Minnesota Hockey State Tournaments will feature the qualifying teams competing in a standard championship bracket format with 3rd place and consolation games.
