Goaltenders held their final group practice of the week and ended the morning session with a traditional group photo.

Team Light Blue remains unbeaten with an afternoon win over Team Green.  Team White has a strong hold on the second slot with only one loss and Team's Green, Red and Gold are fighting it out for the third and fourth seed with records of 1-2-1.

After dinner Paul Martin, Elk River native and former NHL player, spoke to players about the ups and downs of hockey and life, impressing upon them that you never know what will happen from year to year, and every one will develop at different times.  So don't compare yourself to others, control your attitude and effort and show up for yourself.

Hockey players like to think of themselves as tough, strong and in control, but the toughest thing that you can do is ask for help.

White 7 Red 2

Red pulled within one, midway thru the first half but it was all White after that, scoring four unanswered goals.

Carver Hasbargen (Moorhead) with a hat trick, Parker Deschene (Rogers) adds two goals and an assist, both Mason Minor (Wayzata) and Mason Jenson (Rogers) tally a goal and an assist for Team White.

Light Blue 5 Green 3

The score was tied at two coming out of the break. Green scored first, for their second and last lead of the game. White answers with 3 goals, 2 in the final minute of play.

Deniel Peck (Totino-Grace) tallies 2 goals and Will Belle (Shattuck-St. Mary's) adds a goal and an assist.  Cam Alt (Fergus Falls) scores two goals for Team Green.

Royal 5 Gold 2

Team Gold pulled with in one goal before a pair of goals by Connor Maruska (Crookston) in the closing minutes, secured Team Royal's first win of the week.  Tyden Bergeson (Moorhead) tallied a pair of assists in the effort.
