Boys 15 Camp: Day 1 Recap

The first day of camp brought 102 players together from across the state of Minnesota for the 2022 HP Development Camp at St. Cloud State University.
The goalies took the ice in the morning for their first daily skate before joining their teammates for lunch .and an afternoon practice session
Don Kraus, HP Boys 15 Coaching Director, and Scott Dornfeld, HP Boys 15 Director, laid out some of the expectations for the week. After dinner Kraus gave the players a formal welcome, daring them to use camp as a way to open doors and windows to make future connections. "We are daring you to use this week to make yourself better"
The day ended with the first round of games. Red and Green got off to a late start after a plexiglass panel broke during warmups and needed to be replaced, but the rest of the evening went smoothly with a trio of very competitive games.
