District 4/9 - 3, District 5 - 4

District 5 jumped out to an early 3-1 after the first half, propelled behind two power play goals (Sophia Hess, River Lakes; Magdelyn Ohara, St. Cloud). Nora Carstensen (Dodge County) had two goals, and Averi Vetsch had a goal and two assists (Owatanna) to keep District 4/9 close, including two third period goals, but Caitlin Roth (East Ridge) tallied the game-winner at 8:01 of the second to help District 5 top District 4/9.

 

District 6 - 3, District 10 - 1

District 6 stayed undefeated (5-0-0), concluding the weekend with a 3-1 win against District 10.

Taylor Lesnar (Holy Angels) tapped in a backdoor pass from Ella Konrad (Eden Prairie) at 21:27 for a narrow 1-0 lead.

Hannah Grabianowski (Shakopee) increased the lead 2-0 at 20:41 of the second half, unassisted.

Kayla Shaffer (Blaine) found Hannah Christenson (Andover) at 18:23 to bring District 10 within 2-1, but an unassisted goal from Kaylee Indrogo Lam (Edina) gave District 6 the 3-1 final.

 

 

District 11/12 - 1, District 8 - 5

Propelled behind a three point showing from Rosemount’s Sophie Stramel (two goals, one assist), District 5 grabbed a 5-1 win over District 11/12.

Kylie Debay (Grand-Rapids Hermantown) scored the lone goal for District 11/12 at 18:42 of the second half. Cheyene Walz (Woodbury), Kennedy Meier (Farmington) and Kylee Paul (East Ridge) also notched goals en route to the District 8 victory.

District 8 outshot District 11/12 30-10, with District 11/12 goalies Mallory Hartl (Moose Lake, 13 saves) and Auriela Anderson (Duluth Marshall, 12 saves) standing strong between the pipes.

 

District 2 - 2, District 3 - 0

Lily Peterfeso (Roseville, 14 saves) and Taylor Thompson (Forest Lake, 18 saves) stopped a combined 32 shots for a District 2 victory.

A game in which District 3 outshot 2, 32-7, goaltending made the difference.

Kasey Senden (Hill-Murray) scored at 2:58 of the first half, and Ella Perreault (Chisago Lakes) scored at 2:27 of the second half for the District 2 victory.
