North Dakota wins second straight championship

CHAMPIONSHIP: Nolan Nenow (Jamestown) scored the clinching goal in a shootout and goaltender Ryan Robison (Fargo North) stopped all three shootout attempts as North Dakota won its second straight NIT championship. Nenow, North Dakota's top scorer last season, scored a power-play goal with 3:01 left to force overtime.

Minnesota HP-18 7, Wisconsin Seniors 0

THIRD PLACE: Bradley Walker (Orono) had a goal and two assists and Tomas Anderson (Stillwater) and Jack Erickson (Hill-Murray) combined on a 24-save shutout for the Minnesota 18s. Peyton Blair (Centennial) added two assists for Minnesota, which outscored its four opponents 26-10.

Michigan HP-18 4, Wisconsin HP-18 3

FIFTH PLACE: Ben Pouliot (Hartland) scored with 2:28 remaining to lift the Michigan 18s to victory. Peter Rosa (Brother Rice) added two goals for Michigan, which trailed 2-0 early in the first period. Michigan goalie Ryan Price (Livonia Churchill) stopped 27 of 30 shots. Reece Cordray (Verona) scored a third-period goal for Wisconsin.

Michigan Seniors 6, Colorado 3

SEVENTH PLACE: Brendan Bourne (Grandville) scored three goals to lead the Michigan Seniors past Colorado in the seventh-place game. Chad Nordstrom (Hancock) added a goal and an assist for Michigan. Sean Holloway (Regis Jesuit) had a goal and an assist for Colorado.
