B17: White buries its chances to knock off Blue, 4-1, in nightcap

B17: Goals by Harper Searles (Centennial), Jackson Nevers (Edina), Wes Berg (Gentry Academy) and Edward Revenig (Edina) led the way as White skated past Blue 4-2 in Saturday night's final game.

Aaron Reierson (Moorhead) contributed two assists, while Austin Durkop (Coon Rapids) stopped 14 of 16 in net and Will Ingemann (Wayzata) stopped all nine he faced in a shutout first half as Blue settles their record at 1-1 on the day.  -- Drew Herron

B17: Wes Berg (Gentry Academy) scored twice, and Hagen Burrows (Minnetonka) and Cooper Conway (Andover) each added two assists to help lead White to a 5-2 win over Red Saturday afternoon. 

White outshot Red in both periods, and bested them 29-18 for the game. 

Ashton Dahms (Lakeville South) finished with a goal and a pair of points for Red, and Teddy Townsend (Eden Prairie) added a goal. 

Austin Durkop (Coon Rapids) stopped all nine shots he faced, and Will Ingemann (Wayzata) made eight saves on nine shots to combine for the win in net for White.   -- Drew Herron

B16: Red puts up twice as many shots but fall to Blue, 4-3

Ten different skaters recorded a point, and William Zellers (Shattuck-SM) netted a goal and an assist to help lead Blue to a 4-3 win over Red Saturday afternoon.

Red put up more than double the shots (27-13) as did Blue, but Blue goaltenders Andrew Lane (Hill-Murray) and Conner Roff (Thief River Falls) combined for 24 saves to limit Red for the better part of 48 minutes.

Michael Risteau (Benilde-St. Margaert's) and Brittan Alstead (Wayzata) each recorded a goal and an assist for Red. -- Drew Herron

B16: Uhlenkamp nets hat trick as Blue tops White 6-3 in opener

B16: Gavin Uhlenkamp (Chanhassen) netted a hat trick and an assist to help steer Blue to a 6-3 victory over White in the festival opener Saturday at Plymouth Ice Center.

Teammate William Zellers (Shattick-St. Mary’s) added a goal and two assists, as did Dallas Vieau (Hermantown) to help round out the Blue offensive attack. John Kleis (Eden Prairie) chipped in a goal and an assist, making it four skaters with multi-point games for Blue.

White was led by Henry Lechner (Holy Angels)’ two points, and Ben Curtis (Chanhassen) finished with two assists.

In goal, Andrew Lane (Hill-Murray) stopped 13 of 15, and Connor Roff (Thief River Falls) made four saves on five shots to combine for the win in the crease. -- Drew Herron


B17: Osborn's Hat trick, two goals from Hunter Anderson lead Blue past Red, 7-5

B17: Blue pounded away with 45 shots and raced past Red 7-5 Saturday evening at Plymouth Ice Center.

A hat trick from Parker Osborn (Holy Family) and two goals from Hunter Anderson (Shattuck-St. Mary’s) helped lead Blue, while Tyler Barsness (Coon Rapids) contributes a goal and two assists. 

Kade Kohanski (Hermantown) finished with a goal and an assist for Red. Hampton Slukynsky (Warroad) was solid between the pipes, making 24 saves on 27 shots in a half, while Kaizer Nelson (Minnetonka) stopped18 shots. Red finished the day 0-2.  -- Drew Herron

B16: Four different skaters score as Red rolls over White, 4-1

Lucas Mann (Hill-Murray), Cooper Jacobson (Dodge County), Louie Wehmann (Providence Academy) and River Freeman (Hermantown) all scored as Red rolled over White, 4-1 Saturday evening at Plymouth Ice Center. 

Goaltenders Caleb Heil (Sioux Falls Power) and Mason McElroy (Benilde-St. Margaret’s) combined to stop 32 of 33 shots they faced to secure the win in the crease. Hell stopped all 14 he saw in the first half, and McElroy made 18 saves on 19 shots in the second. 

Josh Kauppinen (Hermantown) scored for White, spoiling the shutout with 49 seconds remaining.

Final shots favored White 33-28.
