Girls 16: Red 4 vs. Blue 3

What started out as a heavy defensive battle, with shots on goal tied at 4 deep into the first half, quickly turned into an exchange of scoring with 5 goals in the final 7:31 minutes of play.  Team Blue controlled the tempo for most of the second half but it was Team Red's Ella Pasqua (Minnetonka) that broke the tie with 3 minutes left on the clock.  Pasqua scored 2 goals for Team Red and Ayle Puppe (Northfield) tallied two assists in the 4-3 win.

Girls 16: White 4 vs. Blue 3

Team Blue took a short break and came back out on the ice to take on Team White, matching each other stride for stride thru the 1st half, each team netted a goal and shots were nearly even at 11-10.

Two shots = two goals to start the second half.  Peyton Lemieur (Brainerd-Little Falls) puts Blue up 2-1 just 9 seconds in and Taylor Porthan (Edina) answers 34 seconds later to restore the tie.  With 2:30 remaing Team White takes their first lead of the game on a goal scored by Ilsa Lindaman (Duluth Marshall), assisted by Camille Dubuc (Edina), and they hang on for the win.
